Steven proudly serves as Barnett Woolums’ resident Pawalegal and Director of Office Morale. A dedicated member of the firm, he begins each day by patrolling the hallways, greeting the team, and determining which attorneys are available to provide scratches, treats, or the undivided attention he believes every hardworking Pawalegal deserves.

Steven specializes in client greetings, emotional support, hallway supervision, and the careful inspection of all incoming evidence, especially anything that smells remotely edible. He listens attentively during office conversations and offers his professional opinion through expressive snorts, persuasive grunts, and the occasional well-timed bark. Although his legal analysis may require interpretation, he delivers every opinion with confidence and rarely permits opposing counsel to interrupt him.

When he is not supervising the firm’s daily operations, Steven can often be found conducting strategic floor-level meetings, testing the comfort of available office furniture, or stretching across a cool tile floor. He has mastered the art of remaining comfortable while appearing extremely busy.

Steven’s responsibilities include welcoming guests, conducting hallway inspections, monitoring attorney availability, encouraging regular breaks, and maintaining firmwide morale. With his loyalty, enthusiasm, and unmistakable personality, Steven helps make Barnett Woolums a warmer and more welcoming place for clients, visitors, and staff.
